October Horror Challenge Thread... Too Big?

It seems our October Horror Challenge thread has become too big?

I just went to the page... which the last post was only moments before... and it gave me an error... and not able to update my main list or to post what I just watched...

Here is the message it gave...

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 67108864 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 262144 bytes) in /var/www/sites/www.hometheaterforum.com/releases/20101021234845/htmlpurifier/HTMLPurifier.standalone.php on line 9051

So wondering what we are to do from here... start a second thread... though there is no way to retrieve our main list.

Maybe TPTB can update the size allowed... at least for that thread? I mean we only have 4 more days counting today... hate to lose that info in there now.

Thoughts?

It seems that it is only the first page of this thread that is too big. I was able to get through clicking the link on the notification email to get to the newest page.

Maybe we need to delete some photos? There are a lot of pics in that thread.

That don't seem to be the problem since I discovered it is only the first page of the thread... the one with the majority of the lists... that gives the error message.

I bet Scotty will get right to the bottom of things, Cap'n!

So far Scotty has determined that there is some HTML markup in one of the posts causing the page to error out.  He is still working on restoring the page.

I am having the same problem today too.  Glad to know it's being looked into!

It's probably something to do with the dilithium crystals.  Those things can be temperamental.

And we are back!  The thread is fixed and we have tools in place to prevent it from happening in the future.
