I agree if the show was nothing more than Genre injokes it would be quite stale, I think they are doing a good job with mixing that in , with having the guys mature into a more worldly bunch. They've done it slowly over time and they've done it well. As much as I like it I hope this show doesn't stay on past its prime, another season or two to a wrap up would be fine for this show, I find comedies, even great one have a shelf life of about five years. Even MASH morphed more into a Dramedy over the course of its 11 seasons
