OK, I've tried searching everywhere and it's only leading to more confusion.
I have a HTiB setup. the JVC TH-C50. Which is fine for my little Apt. right now. I am thinking of buying the LG bd550 Blu-ray player. To replace my old Sony that was stolen.
It's in my price range and does all the streaming I want too. I can't seem to figure out if I can get it connected to my surround system. The JVC has Optical, and RCA L/R audio inputs. The LG BD550 has Coaxial and RCA L/R outputs only I think. Soooo... I want the best possible surround I can get. It seems my only option is to use the RCAs. Is there a better option? (without spending more $) ;) I may just start looking for another Blu-ray player with optical out.
I miss watching my Blu-rays.
Thanks
Phil
