Darken the light blue font for the love of God

I'd been using a Firefox plugin to replace the hard-to-see light blue font that is used all over this site... but I moved on to a beta of Firefox that doesn't support the override.

So now I'm back to seeing the hard-to-see light blue font.

It isn't readable. Please darken it!

Sorry for the late response.

Are you talking about the text that is used to denote clickable links?

Yep. When it is thick is is readable enough (as in, for example, your name there above the "MODERATOR" line, but other on the right in the links to the DVD and BluRay reviews where the font is normal, the contrast is really low. And I'm only just over 40.

I've always thought the blue text for links was too close to ordinary black post text.  And, that it should either be underlined or boldened just to set it apart so members will know that it's a clickable link.

See what I mean?    It's underlined in the text box (really obvious)...but when posted, the differences disappear and blend with the black text.

The only thing I can suggest for both of you is to try playing around with the contrast/brightness of your screen and see if that helps. I don't have any issues with it being too light or dark at home or at work using either a 19 inch flat panel or my 21.5 inch iMac.

It's true I use a bright brand of screen - Samsung - but I have to because I do a lot of graphics work.
