I'd also like to add to this:  I am uncertain if it's disingenuous to characterize sponsors as insiders.  It's borderline I guess but I think it's a little insulting to the 'real' industry insiders you have attracted to lump this other class of member in with those who have earned the right by their personal blood sweat and tears contributions to the industry rather than through their checkbook.

 

Just my opinion....

Many of the sponsors that we have as insiders are "real" industry insiders in their particular field and are not contributors solely by money. In fact the majority of the insiders on the forum make no financial contribution to the site at all. If they did all the owners could quit their day jobs in a heart beat.

 

To say that our sponsors, that are also industry insiders, are not putting in an equivalent amount of blood, sweat and tears to the industry is insulting to them. And the bottom line is that without their support this forum would not exist.

Thanks sir!  And in case it's not clear: apologies to the sponsors who were undeserving of my comments =)

 

BTW I REALLY REALLY REALLY like the Smallville banner tonight, this is exactly the kind of stuff I hope to see more of here!!!
