Vincent, the yellow UPC is a sticker on the outside of the case. You should be able to peel it off without any difficulty.

Awesome!  I'd only seen pics on the internet & just really didn't like the look of it.  Now I can do the exchange without any disappointment.  Thanks for the info!

^ I don't know about all copies but the bar code is definitely printed yellow on my copy (with no sticker at all). That being said, how often are you going to be looking at the back of the cover anyway?

My bar code is definitely printed yellow too.  I must admit this doesn't bother me at all - it just tells me I've got the right version.

If people have a problem with a yellow bar code instead of a white one they really need to rethink their priorities in life.

I did my return tonight at my local Best Buy.  It couldn't have been any easier.  The manager and clerk at the customer service counter knew about the recall and sent me off to get my replacement disc. 

 

They did all the proper paperwork--scanning both discs and generating a new receipt. 

 

While I was there I also picked up the BD of Field of Dreams for $14.99. 

 

A BIG "thank you" to Paramount for a terrific response to this issue.

I sent my disc in to Technicolor.  They received it Tuesday and the replacement was on my doorstep today (Thursday).  Great turnaround.  Thumbs up for the speedy replacement.

I performed the exchange via Amazon.com. However, despite higher return shipping cost from Germany, I only got refunded the flat $2.98. The whole process only took about 3 weeks.

Has this issue been corrected yet and is there any other issues with this title? How is the picture quality? Is there any DNR issues? How is the sound?

PQ was never an issue.

Audio is reference.
