HDMI XV Color

Hey all.

I purchased a Sony 52" XBR9 TV a few months back and I use my PS3 to watch Blu-rays.  I am using a standard HDMI 1.0 cable to connect the 2 units.

I see that HDMI advances were made, currently on 1.3, for color.  XV color and deep color, which my TV supports.  Do I need to upgrade my 1.0 cable to category 2/1.3 cables?  I'm a little confused on this.

I found this cable, but not sure if I should purchase- BJC Belden Series-F2 HDMI Cable here:

you are refering to xvycc color space.
the only current application that uses this is 1 model of sony camcorder (that I am aware of).
Any HDMI cable that you have will be fine.
