Will we be seeing more seasons of these shows?

I want more Love Boat and more Mod Squad.

For me of those three shows, I'm interested primarily in seeing more Hotel come out.

Dynasty: Season 5 is next on dvd, and that year was when the show was #1 in the ratings.

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

I would be for more Love Boat, but, not as volumes. I can not stand volumes. I would be even more happy for more fantasy island, but, i have my doubts if any more of that series will be released. There was talked of a fantasy island movie starring Eddie Murphy.

In a perfect world, I'd like to see all of my favorite TV shows come in complete series packs a la the great job Fox did with Ally McBeal.

As for this discussion - yes to all of the above, particularly Dynasty because, as another of your contributors already pointed out, Season 5 really is the best season of that show - the one with the Moldavian massacre and the only season to star legitimate royalty.

Hotel is another fav, as is Falcon Crest and Dynasty II: The Colbys. What I have a genuine problem with is overall quality of TV product available on DVD. Paramount's Season Three Vol. One of Dynasty had A LOT of edge enhancement throughout most of the episodes.

Warner's Falcon Crest entree is among the worst mastering jobs I have ever seen. There's a severe amount of edge enhancement, color bleeding and color fading. All of these shortcomings could have been corrected with just a little time, thought, effort and, yes, money spent to make a product I'd actually like to watch instead of use as a frisbee!

So, to answer your question - yes, more classic TV on DVD and (total wish fulfillment here) Blu-Ray, but mastered properly. Thanks.

how about fantasy island as well. I would love to see more of this show released along with Knots Landing.
