We Would Like To Wish You A Happy New Year
We are very excited about what we have planned for 2010. Home Theater Forum has made huge strides over the past 7 months and we are looking to continue that progress with some major additions to the site, the first being the return of the photo gallery in the next few weeks. The gallery will allow you to create image albums on your profile pages, title them, add descriptions to the photos and more.
Studio Insiders
We are also very excited that the studios are becoming more involved with Home Theater Forum. You may have noticed studio reps posting in the forum as of late or seen posts by Ronald Epstein posting on their behalf. If not posting, you can rest assured that based on our conversations with them, that they are reading your feedback. Home Theater Forum has always prided itself on polite and professional discussion -- and it is one of the reasons that the studios are now starting to participate.
We would like to introduce the rollout of our Studio Insider Pages by welcoming Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment. They are the first of several studios who will be coming on board over the next few months. The Fox Insider page has links to all the Fox activity here on HTF along with the names of the studio reps that you will see posting information on recent releases, and a link to subscribe to Fox related activity on HTF. You can access the Fox Insider Page by clicking here.
In the meantime, please be on the lookout for specific studio feedback threads, and when you see a representative from one of the studios participating, be sure to say hello and as always, remember to be polite and respectful.
HTF Awards 2009
We have nothing against the multitude of DVD and BLU-RAYS that get awarded top honors every year. But how many of them are actually voted upon by consumers themselves? Home Theater Forum is proud to announce our 2009 HTF AWARDS, one of the very few awards of its type that is nominated and voted upon strictly by the consumers.
Nominations are now underway to vote for your favorite and least favorite titles of the past year in several categories. Nominations will close at the end of the day on Sunday January 24th. Starting January 25th you will have the opportunity to vote from the top nominations selected by our members. We will post all the winners in our next Newsletter.

We Want To Know What You Think
Universal Studios was concerned about the apprehensions some members had about their new DVD/Blu-ray flipper discs. They sent us samples of the upcoming Bourne Identity Trilogy titles which we have tested and commented on. We seem to be satisfied that this is a very positive direction for the studio but do you feel that way as well? Let us know what you think about the flipper format.
