Thanks, Jacob.  That's just me having a brain fart.

Even more stupid, I was reading a newspaper this afternoon and saw a picture of Jeff Daniels.  My mind flashed to the RoundUp (which was already "put to bed") and I thought "I think I wrote Jeff Daniels instead of Jeff Bridges, I'll have to check on that before I post it."

And I forgot.

And that's Saoirse Ronan with Susan Sarandon in that still from The Lovely Bones, not Rachel Weisz.

A missing item:

44 Inch Chest on both DVD and Blu-ray. It's an Image release starring Ray Winstone, Ian McShane, John Hurt and Tom Wilkinson.

Thanks for the Roundup.  Nothing for me this week (waiting for November to get Avatar SE).
Didn't realize Perry Mason was already coming out!  But those prices pretty much suck.

Re:  the Bravo titles at Target.  There is also a season of Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D-List and Real Housewives of Atlanta.  For $14.99 I'll pick up D-List.

EDIT:
Beginning of the End
?  With a YouTube clip?  Easily one of the worst "big bug" movies ever commited to celluloid!
I'll be picking up the Minority Report and Avatar Blu-rays.

The Lovely Bones is probably the most frustrating movie I've seen in years. There was parts that I thought that were great but there were also parts that I thought were terrible. Unfortunately, the terrible parts sunk the great parts.

Thanks for the prices, guys!

When I was in BB last week, they had a ton of TV shows on sale.  Futurama sets for $19.99, GI Joe and Transformers volumes for $14.99 (those are the ones I noticed).  Shelf tags indicated those prices would be good though May 3, IIRC.  BB.com has the more thorough, compete list with 480 something titles.

And...local Wal Mart got a supply of Warner stuff, including Thundercats ($19.99) and Lois and Clark ($14.96).  Even saw both seasons of Carnivale there for $15.

Now then, certainly Avatar, but most likely the SE down the road.  Minority Report will certainly drop from the $19.99 price point during the summer; I'll wait on that.  Otherwise, I'll probably fill some holes with the TV sale at BB.

If the budget allows, Perry Mason for here. Best Buy online shows $36.99; likely the b&m shelf price will be the slated $39.99, so it's price-match time again.

Thank you as always, Mike, Michael, Patrick & all!

Buying Avatar (looks like Target is the way to go here) and renting Lovely Bones and Crazy Heart.

Thanks!

C'mon, Michael.  You've been around long enough to know the WRU drill.  It's in the fine print in the disclaimer!

But I added it to the grid...just for you!

"You can't drop an atom bomb on Chicago!"

"Joey...do you like movies about grasshoppers?"

That's what I hear.  Even my wife wants no part of that one.

You mean this disclaimer:

If there is a title not included in the RoundUp that you want to see, PLEASE just look it up yourself, and be nice enough to post and share the results with everyone!

I'm doing just as you request -- and a little more.
Thanks for the Round Up!

The way I look at the Avatar situation with the SE coming in November, to get Avatar at Target's price is like buying the standard def DVD and the blu ray disc is like a bonus!
The performances are very good (although Gyllenhaal is about a decade too young for her role), but the movie is totally made-for-TV melodrama all around. Well-worth seeing, but I can't imagine watching it enough to make a purchase worthwhile.

I figured a review must be coming.

It better be good (the film, that is) at those prices.

Avatar BD for me this week.  I wonder if BB will be changing their price to match Target's.  I can't believe they are releasing The Beginning of the End as a stand-alone DVD.  I purchased this when it was available with the Mystery Science Theater release.  You can watch the movie with their commentary or the movie, straight.  This is one movie that benefits from the MST commentary.  It is the only way I will watch the movie.

As an east central Illinois resident, where the movie is supposedly taking place, I appreciate The Beginning of the End even more.  One of my favorite commentaries from the MST characters is "Those are my favorite mountains of Illinois.  It is a campy classic movie.

Avatar and maybe Forgetting Sarah Marshall on Blu for me, depending on my wallet.

Thanks for the Round-up!  Perry Mason for me.

Mike, maybe I'm late to the party, but Congratulations on your "promotion" to Moderator!!  It's well deserved and reflects the great value you add to HTF.

Not late at all, Steve.  In fact, you win the prize for being the first to notice.    And thanks for the nice words.    It promises to be an adventure.

But I swear I'll still be the same, modest RoundUp producer as always.
Mike is a mod! Wow, i better watch my Ps and Qs!

Congrats Mike. Couldnt happen to a better guy. Now you cant win anything, and the rest of us will have a chance!
Mike is now a "mod" which by terms of mutual exclusion means he can't be considered a "rocker".

Congratulations, Mike!
Wow, congrats Mike!  Not a bad step up in the world!
Good one, Bob.  :)

Let's all go crazy posting off-topic garbage, just to test the New Guy!
