A few words about...™ Sherlock Holmes -- in Blu-ray

While filmmaker Guy Ritchie's variant of Arthur Conan Doyle's long-lived detective may not be recognizable as the same Holmes that arrived on the scene, solving his first case in 1887, the film is still a great deal of noisy fun.

As a Blu-ray disc, the quality of Sherlock Holmes can be brought down to a single word.

Perfect.

Recommended, with part two already in pre-production.

Excellent PQ and Reference AQ.

Love this version.

While this version bears little resemblance to other filmed versions (movies and TV), I found it more faithful to the original stories than I expected (and yes, I am fully aware of the ways it deviated from those stories as well).  I quite enjoyed it and plan to add it to the collection.
