Need advice on this setup.

Hello all!
I just wanted to get your opinion on this setup since I am a audio noob.

My original thought was to go with the HTIB Onkyo HT-S5200.  From what I have read, HTIB is not the way to go. I have increased my budget to about $800

So I was thinking about going with the

Yamaha RX-v565 receiver (329.99)

and go with the speakers of

Polk Audio RM87 which comes with a free sub (PSW111) for $499.99

My question is this a good set up?  Also, at this time at 7 speaker set up so I was thinking I could just purchase another pair of speakers once we get a house and out of the apartment.

Any advice would help!

Thanks

Polk isn't known for their subs and even though the PSW 111 only goes down to 38 hz it should be adequate for an apartment, but when you move into a house you might want something a bit better.

Another option would be the Energy/RC-Micro-5.1 sold on Amazon from Crutchfields for $399.99 with free shipping.

Or the Energy-Take/Classic5 (about $250 shipped from an Amazon seller) and the 10" Sub-100. from partsexpress.com. It's $131 with $9.95 for shipping. That's only about $390 which means you can spend another $100 on an even better sub, if you want to. The 12" SUB-120 at $170 shipped or the 10" BIC-V1020 at $159 shipped would both be a little bit better still.
