Ugly Americans

It wasn't all that funny, but it managed to entertain me for a half an hour.  Or maybe it was just residual entertainment value from the awesome South Park that it followed.  :)

I was hoping there'd at least be a token explanation why all of the freaks of the known universe suddenly exposed themselves and settled in New York City, other than the obvious reason the all of the freaks of the known universe (at least east of the Mississippi) already settle in New York City.

As you say, there weren't really any laugh out loud moments, but it held my interest.

I'm still not sure what to think, but the utter wackiness continues to hold my attention.  Also, unlike some other "adult" animation (hello, Adult Swim), they keep the gross-out stuff relatively mild, which I prefer.

This show is growing on me. I liked the last episode's (Demon Baby) Gangs of New York flashback showing the early vampire population fighting the Irish. Which shows that in this world, NYC has always been home to bizarre supernatural types. The Irish normal humans were the interlopers.

And that Three Hole is some seriously messed up stuff.

I've noticed it's made by the same animation studio that produces "Superjail" for AS. Their whole style reminds me of the work of Sally Cruikshank.

That's interesting -- IMO SuperJail is one of the worst insults to the concept of entertainment ever produced by human civilization.  :)

"Normal humans" like the leprechaun and the potato man???

I hear ya on the "three hole."  Oy!  Colorful, though.

Is it just me, or is this show getting funnier?

That VC execution gag was classic.
