Dear Guys:
One of my biggest complaints about various tv cable networks is that several of them repeat the same series over and over again. As soon as FX stopped showing MASH, the Hallmark channel started showing it. Hallmark also shows Little House, Waltons, and Seventh Heaven, and I believe a few other networks show the same programs as well.
If you were a family tv programmer, what lesser known family friendly shows would you put on to add a bit more variety?
I'd like too see such shorter lived programs as:
Helltown (with the now infamous Tony Blake)
Apple's Way (one year show from Waltons' creator)
Family Holvak (seventies made depression era show)
I know there are numerous other shorter lived programs that could stand inclusion--what would some of you tv specialists recomment?
I really wish Eight is Enough was showing again. After seeing the reunion bit this week on NBC, I sort of got nostalgic for that. And whatever happened to Susan Richardson, nobody talked about her.
