My Theater is FINALLY coming together!!! Tell me what you think - Page 2

Absolutely beautiful room... Looks like you paid somebody a fortune to put together for you.  I wish I was as creative and handy as you are.  I think you should consider getting into the business of doing this for people.

Love it!

2 quickies...

1 - what's in the rack?

2 - who bumped their head on the projector shelf so far?

(what is the distance from the top of the riser to the bottom of the shelf?)

Congrats on the amazing room!

Nice very clean theater. Just got the ok today to put a 106" screen in the master bedroom. So after I finish the home theater I would be working on the bedroom theater. I think I will be taking some ideas from this theater I like the clean lines in it for the bedroom.

Keith, I have a Media Closet at the rear where I store everything. At some point I plan on hooking up a Computer for digitally storeing as well..... but I have plenty of room for all my movies and such so far.

Question #1 - Yamaha receiver and Samsung Bdp, Direct Receiver.... and everything else. It's open in the back and as long as the lights are off in the closet you cant even tell.

Question 2- No one has bumped their head as of yet. I have noticed most taller people go for the front row for some reason. The clearance is roughly 6 ft to the bottom though..... so it could happen. I tried to leave enough room where it is less likely as long as you watch out. My seat is actually right underneath it...... I like the secoond row.....lol

Very nice theater those are some great deals you got. Didn't even think about looking on Creigs List for theater seating.

Who's the manufacturer of your av cabinet? I've been scouring ebay, amazon, craigs list, and pawn shops and can't find anything for a descent price.frown.gif

I need to get an a/v cabinet like that to put into my wall. Do you know of another site besides craigslist for one?

Can I get a better picture at your trim where you cut out the hole to put your a/v cabinet in? How far does your cabinet stick out and how did you cover up the edges of the drywall of the cutout? Did you use some type of wall molding?
