I have a fairly unique situation that you may be able to help with with by giving me recommendations.

I have this:
Samsung HT-AS730ST Home Theater System by Samsung

and this:
Samsung LN52B630 52-Inch 1080p 120 Hz LCD HDTV with Red Touch of Color

connected and working fine.  Sound is.... well.. so-so..... (as a home theater system).. I've connected my Cowon D2 PMP and the system sounds real bad.

Sitting right along side my entertainment system, unused at this time are a set of Cerwin Vega Re-30s. These speakers ROCK! and are in excellent condition (12" Woofer, 4" Mid, and 1" Tweeter).

What should I do?

Buy a new 5.1 or 7.1 HT receiver and mix my Cerwin Vegas speakers with speakers from my AS730ST?

Buy a 2-channel integrated amp and use with my PMP only? Buy a new HT receiver and use my Samsung speakers with the new receiver?

Something else I haven't though of?

I could build some kind of bridge with maybe a 3.1 amp and a 2-channel amp???? (Although I'm not sure how to do this.... I could probably figure something out if you gave me a good starting point)

Anyway, thanks for your help and I'll certainly take into consideration any recommendations I receive here as long as they don't cost too much.. (I would like to stay around $500 but could up to $1000 for a kick butt system)
