Dancing With The Stars 10th Season - Page 2

Jeez, anyone watch this tonight.
Why the need for this pseudo Beach Boys, just awful.

The Beach Boys appearance to me was just another in a line of traditional band or singer appearances they have for the elimination show coupled with a dance number by the pros. The bad part is that it's just a filler to make the show a full 60 minutes and stretch out the suspense.

Definitely an upset as to who stayed and who left. I figured despite of his low scores, Buzz would stay a little longer due to his hero status. I think the wrong star got the boot.

I winced when Mark said the muscle had torn from the bone (I guess in his knee area).  Ouch!

I only caught the end, when they sent Shannen Dougherty packin' -- did they eliminate Buzz Aldrin too?

Only one star was eliminated. Though last year, they did eliminate 2 on one show. Buzz was the first one to be safe.

I can't imagine what it's like to have the muscle tear off the bone! Ouch for Mark Ballas! This happened to one of the stars a few years ago to his bicep muscle!

Someboy PLEASE kick Kate Gosselin off! She is just awful to watch! I still don't get how Doherty got the boot before her.

I'm no fan of Gosselin either. She's had her 15 minutes.

But she appears to have redeemed herself in the eyes of the judges with last night's performance. The amazing thing is that with her casting this season, she's probably partly responsible for the huge ratings this show is getting this season and she has a lot of fans who are voting for her.

My wife has been watching since season 1.  And she is ready to stop watching.  She cannot understand how Gosselin is still on the show.  I think the producers just like the controversy she brings.  A bunch of the radio personalities on a few stations were all complaining how bad she is.

If death could dance, it would like like Kate dancing.

Got to love Sade.

I am very surprised that Kate is still around. She must have a lot of fans voting for her. She is definitely the worst of the lot when it comes to actual dancing. She is probably getting a lot of sympathy votes too.

It's getting down to the wire. Niecy Nash was voted off. I think this week the right people stayed. Was glad to see Kate go, but surprised to see Pam Anderson go. I think the football player is next to go and down to Nicole and Evan. Though I would not count out Erin. I'm hoping she wins.

Erin is my favorite although Nicole is kicking ass with Derek.  (Their routines are phenomenal but I can't stand her.) Evan looks great in certain dances but I have my doubts about him.  He just doesn't seem capable of letting loose completely.  His partner Anna has climbed up my hot chick chart this season.  Erin blows me away with her incredible body but her performances get better and better.  She seems very down to earth, too.  I think she's peaking at the right time.  I wouldn't be surprised if it comes down to a girl vs girl showdown.  I almost said girl on girl.

Anyway you cut it, this show has the hottest woman on TV.

I hope OchoCinco is sent home next week, he's got a lot of tools, and still can't use most of them on the dance floor.

I think we're on the same page on all counts! I'll stick my neck out and call it. It will be Erin taking home the mirror ball.

I still got to go with Nicole, even though she is fairly unlikable, she's just a better dancer than the rest of the contestants.  The only way she loses if if she stumbled a few times, and allows Evan or Erin to sneak in for some higher scores from the judges.

True Nicole is technically stronger, especially how Derek is always doing the flashier choreography with partners that are young and capable. The like-ability factor is a good point Patrick. That's why I think Erin has a good chance, she's just got to get over her fears. Evan is very good too.

This week's elimination show has not aired here in the west coast yet.

Last night's show had Nicole and Evan tied for 1st place and Erin in third and OchoCinco 4th. He performed well, as did Erin. They both really turned up the performances.

My guess is of the 2, Erin will survive. And like last year, Donny Osmond won because he improved the most and was charismatic and had lots of fans. So my guess is Erin could do the same and come in from behind, though her fanbase may not be as big. But it's really close and Nicole could take it. Evan's dance numbers last night were very strong too. So it's a 3 way race in my mind.

You were right, Pat. Nicole took the win followed by Evan and Erin in third.
