Perhaps no one knows the answers to your questions. I just looked and if I could help I would, but unfortunately I know very little about either of your questions.
It looks like you have some grand plans. Good luck.

Hi and welcome to HTF HomeSound. Understand that I don't speak for the owners here but as one of the older active posters threads like yours are something I've been following with interest since HTF has gone to a more socially aware environment. Lets recap your two posts shall we?
So no introduction to who you are, what your interests are, or any intention to ever visit HTF again once you get your answers. Boy people should be lining up to answer your very specific questions shouldnt they?
And there are now dozens or hundreds of similar one shot posts with similar issues from people who want their answers now right now gimme gimme gimme without ever wanting to be an active member of a community. Sorry, but while we have very friendly posters here who love discussing the merits of different technology I don't think anyone wants to be an answer bot or google substitute.
Just my opinion. Sorry if it seems like I'm picking on you but you DID ask why nobody is responding to you. Put yourself in the shoes of a HT expert, what would they get out of taking the time to answer your inquiry in detail? Maybe a quick 'Thanks, Bye' post and then we'd never see you again? Or perhaps you might stick around a bit, but there are many many others who are doing the same thing who wouldn't. It's going to be very interesting to see how this plays out long term....

I own a one and a half story home. I have a pioneer vsx 59, two pc's three tv's and dish network. My goal is to have audio and video to all locations. Also want to be able record movies and shows to the pc. My plan is to run a/v from the dish to the vsx then out to two seperate tvs and a smaller sterio but also want to use the pc. What do you think as far as options?

I's been nearly a week since I wrote this and Homesound has not been back. I wonder, did I scare him off with my response or would that have happened anyway? We may never know. For my part, I'm sorry if it didn't help the situation but I don't see a great solution for for people in similar situations to his.
Sam
Edit: I do see that Homesound has added "Dennis" to his profile now! So welcome to HTF Dennis. We'd love it if you'd come back. Be a part of the conversation and I'm sure you'll get a lot more back from the forum than you put into it. Many of us have been here for over 10 years, we wouldn't unless there were good reason and there are hundreds of good reasons every day at HTF.
