LG 47-inch HDTV Deal = $1029.98 shipped from NewEgg (model no. 47LH85), next best price on the 'Net = $1400
It's wireless because it comes with an external media box that you can plug your other components into, and the media box sends the video/audio signal (1080p apparently - must do some kind of compression) to the TV.
Anyone have any experience or feedback on the wireless technology?

Get your cheap HDMI cable for the media box here (only need a 3-6 footer since you can put the media box close to components).

I haven't heard anything good or bad about wireless.  I think it a proprietary solution, and I'm not sure if they would need to compress it or not.  What do they say the range is?  Could you put the transmitter and gear into a closet?

Everything you need, nothing you don't. I love that today's modern and high-end Blu-ray players have differentiated themselves with Internet streaming and/or BD-live capabilities (sarcastic) BUT it has drove down prices of the original devices that do plain jane Blu-ray movie playing.

That is a nice trend --not just for us consumers...but it makes sense it Blu-ray is going to crack the home video market in a big way.
