I live by the expression you get what you pay for but im intrigued by this TV http://www.macmall.com/p/Westinghouse-Video/product~dpno~7956049~pdp.fihbcaa Im just wondering if anyone has had any experience with this or any TV from Westinghouse. Im just concerned that its not one of the bigger name in TV manufacturers like Sony, Samsung, LG, Panasonic, Toshiba and dont want to end up with a TV with poor picture quality. Any input is appreciated. Thanks. PS I would be using the TV for PS3 gaming and as a computer monitor.

Westinghouse TVs?

I don't remember who bought the "Westinghouse" name. Westinghouse went out of business years ago. I believe it is basically a marketing company supplying generic, vendor supplied TVs under the Westinghouse name. All of the ones that I have seen in my shop have poor resolution. They are OK for TV viewing under moderate viewing distances but I wouldn't want to use one as a PC monitor. Gaming, I couldn't say for certain, but close-up viewing will probably suffer.
