The Disclaimer
Standard disclaimer: All prices are taken from the websites of each chain, or from their printed Sunday advertisements. All prices are subject to change by each chain. Prices and inventory in-store may or may not match the website price.

I, obviously, cannot include EVERY title released in a given week in the RoundUp. The titles included are those that I am interested in...as well as those which I consider will be of interest to a majority of consumers (and sometimes I’ll miss one!). I don't get paid for this, and I don't have the time to list every DVD. So, please don't complain! If there is a title not included in the RoundUp that you want to see, PLEASE just look it up yourself, and be nice enough to post and share the results with everyone!

Note that I cannot include Wal-Mart/Sam’s Club prices in the RoundUp. They set prices at individual stores based on nearby competition, so there is no way I can say here what price you'll find at YOUR local Wal-Mart/Sam’s Club location. And, Circuit City is still out of business...even in Hawaii (where they NEVER guaranteed their prices anyway).

The Music Man's already in my Netflix queue.  The Last King of Scotland and Planet Hulk are on the radar for a quick price reduction.  Otherwise, we're in for a mostly bare February.  Hopefully there's a good deal or three this month.

The Music Man is already on its way to me from amazon.    Well, I hope it's on its way.  I should go check my e-mail.

======================

EDIT:

Weird.  I just checked and amazon sent me a notice on Friday that they had shipped my order...but that they had not yet shipped The Music Man...but that it would ship as soon as it was available.  The item they shipped was an SACD I purchased to round out the order and qualify for free shipping.

Thanks for the WRU as usual Mike.  I was hoping that there would be better deals on Zombieland.  At least the Amazon price when I pre-ordered was $.50 less than it is today .  My copy of the Music Man shipped from Amazon yesterday FWIW.

Maybe because you didn't use Free Super Saver Shipping?

Oh.  And thanks for the amazon links, Adam.

Got my email that Mary Tyler Moore Season 6 shipped!  Only one more season to go...
Zombieland for me at BB on blu ray &  I hope I can get there in time to get one of the copies with the bonus disc (car problems which won't be repaired until Friday).   Wonder if buying it online with in store pickup will allow me to get there a few hours after they open & still get it.

I'll pick up the Gangs Of New York and Mystic River Blu-rays at some point in the future but nothing for me this week.

Thanks for the prices, guys!

Doctor Who: The Complete Specials on DVD for me. My Fry's had it out on the shelves on the 23rd, but the POS system wouldn't let me buy it.

It could be.  I swear they intentionally sit on super saver shipping packages for a few extra days before they load it on either the camel train or the tramp steamer...

It's more like a joke because the movie takes place in the 1980's and is in the vein of 1980's horror movies. Just like how the special edition of Lost: Season Five had a VHS tape with it a few weeks back.

Looks like a pretty good week.  I'll be picking up Zombieland, Mystic River, and Last King of Scotland for sure.  The Best of gameshow titles might be a fun Netflix rental.
I was in Target today and they heve Mary Tyler Moore Season 6 on the "Coming Soon" sign.  I'll post pricing on Tuesday, but I'm sure they won't beat Amazon.
If you have a Meijer near you, they're advertising Zombieland on BD for 21.99 in the Sunday ad.

Tony-
You can't just throw that out there without adding the disclaimer that there is no way they won't keep it once the three months is up!

Its sooo nice not to worry about getting together a $25 order anymore.  My wife ordered a $1.50 sheet of stickers the other day.  Showed up in two days!  Plus you can share it with three other "relatives"!
I'm going to do what I can to cancel before my three months are up.
Will pick up Zombieland on Blu this week.  Will probably keep a watch on Gangs Of New York for a cheap price (assuming the picture quality is much improved).  That's pretty much it.
Argh. I hate the Blu-Ray titles that aren't BD/DVD Combo packs. Comedies or talky dramas I just pick up the SD-DVD version, since they're often not spectacular to look at either way. But "Zombieland" is one I know I'll want on BD. Unfortunately, my desktop is the only thing in the house that plays Blu-Ray discs. If I want to watch it on the big screen, I'll have to get the SD-DVD version and just give throw in the towel on futureproofing.

I have found that this is usually the case.  However, I ordered 3 BD last Thursday and they came in Saturday morning mail.  I was so shocked that I actually went back to my email to verify when I ordered.  Definitely the exception.
I'll probably order Mystic River from Amazon.  Other than that, nothing looks appealing.

Still no word from Amazon that The Music Man has shipped.

I hope they don't have an especially fat man sitting on it...

Hey folks - I found a better price for the Doctor Who specials, from a little etailer called Mikes Comics: http://www.mikescomics.com/DVD1.html

They have the standard DVD for 32 bucks and the Blue Ray for 44 bucks. They're good people over there (I buy toys from them all the time), so I thought I'd point out the chance to save a couple of bucks.

Holy crap!    A quick check of "My Account" at amazon.com tells me the estimated shipping date for The Music Man is February 8 (that's next Monday)!

While I suspect it won't take that long...and that, even if it did, my world would not end...I'm still pissed.  That's BS.

Well Mike I don't know what to say other than re-read Cameron's review a few more times while you wait: http://www.hometheaterforum.com/forum/thread/297631/htf-blu-ray-review-the-music-man

Yeah, I've gotten loooong estimates from Amazon but I don't think I've ever had them take as long as they say.

Wellllll.  Things may be looking up.  A check of my amazon account tonight says that while the shipping date is still "expected" to be February 8:

We are preparing these items for shipment and this portion of your order cannot be canceled or changed.

So, I would suspect it's out-the-door tonight or tomorrow.  So, I'm still waiting...but I'll just go read Cameron's review a few more times!

Unbelieveable. Thought having a local BB would be easier. Ordered Zombieland with in store pickup in my mother's name (my van is out of commision & can't get my wheelchair in her Kia) & she goes to pick it up.  I wrote in BIG LETTERS to get the Shut Up or Nut Up version w/ bonus disc.   They told her that she had it.  She brings it home & I peel off the wrap & it's the regular blu ray (no special SKU or UPC for the bonus disc edition) so she had to trek back to BB to switch it out.  Plus now that they switched it out I can't get a price reduction on my .com order as it is recorded as having been returned (the online price has dropped a dollar).   Not a big deal but I always had problems ordering online with bonus discs or other premiums attached to dvds & even with a B&M store it doesn't seem to have changed.
