Hello home theater fans.
I would like to know if anyone has a av reciever with wireless speakers for the rear speakers? If so what brand did you use. i'm trying not to run 30ft of speaker wire to much stuff to go around. I have the pioneer 1019ah av reciever and also i need to know if anyone has this unit what output did you hook up your sub woofer to? thank for the help.

Just remember wireless speakers are not without wires you are going to need 120 volt AC near your speakers. You might want to look into something like this as it will allow you to pick out any brand rear speakers.

I have not personally used this product so I can't tell you how well it works but $59 seems like a fair price if it does.

I've done about 250 installations
3 were with wireless speakers
3 had to be redone with hard wired speakers
the sound just wasn't right, and the customer noticed

I've also been wondering about wireless speakers.. what was wrong with the sound? was there a delay? I'm going to be moving soon and will be setting up a media room in the basement and was hoping that there was a good wireless alternative out there just to make things easier.

So Rocketfish is the way to go? I have a 7.2 Onkyo receiver I really like, but right now it's just running 5.1. When I move I'd like to max it out since I'll have plenty of space smile.gif But, would I have to get a rocketfish receiver thing instead to replace my Onkyo? Or is there some kind of adapter that I plug my speaker cables into, and then buy their bookshelf speakers for my surrounds? I have 2 big floor speakers and my center that I don't mind using regular speaker cables, it's just the surrounds that I'd like to make wireless if possible.

I just use the Rockfish (kit) transmitter and reciever. The transnsmitter plugged in into the rear output on my
pioneer. and the rockfish reciever plugged into the output on my other reciever, and the two rear speaker plugged into the rockfish reciever. i also have the logictech 750 remote that controls both recievers
