Transformers Season 3 & 4 Coming April 20th in Final DVD Set

Good news. Transformers Season 3 and Season 4, the final 33 episodes, will be released in a single boxed set:

Oh, please, I hope Shout Factory does the same thing with G.I. Joe. I know there are close to around 30 episodes in Season 2. This is good news that we'll get the final G.I. Joe Season 2 set in a single release.

I plan on grabbing the Transformers Season 3 and 4 set when it's released and that will complete my collection of owning this classic show. I can't wait for G.I. Joe to be announced.

I doubt they would release the movie. But, I think I'm going to start looking for a copy of that DVD. I know that some retailers still have them in stock.

I think Shout! will eventually release the movie out on DVD as the previous release is already out of print.  Brian Ward of Shout! made it seem like it would eventually happen.

I doubt it. Transformers the Movie is going to require a separate license to release that movie because it's not considered as part of the television series, where the licensing is concerned and Shout is going to have to acquire a separate license to release the movie to DVD.

Well, Rhino previously held the license and since some people who worked for Rhino now work for Shout!, it stands to reason to think that they will at least try.

And don't forget: the Complete Set for GI Joe did have an empty tray reserved for GI Joe the Movie, either for those who already have it or maybe they're just being prepared.

We'll see what the new year brings us, won't we?
