New Sony XBR9 52" - Blurry!

Hi all,
I recently upgraded my Dell 42" XGA monitor/TV to the Sony XBR9 52".  I really do like the picture on this, and Blu-Rays look amazing.  The only thing that is bothering me is that if something moves in the picture, it appears to be blurry.  I see this XBR9 has 4.5ms response time, but I thought the Dell W4200 had 6ms response time.

Any idea why I might be seeing this  blurriness?  Happens with Cable TV and PS3.  I didn't notice it on blurays and haven't checked a DVD.

Motionflow is set to HIGH and cinemotion set to AUTO2.  I've tried other configurations, but the blur is still noticable.

Any help would very much be appreciated.

Thanks,

G

try turning both off

Also make sure to switch off noise reduction, which can create blurring and smearing in the image. If you`re seeing blurriness on analog cable, it may be because most sets use some form of non-defeatable noise reduction on incoming analog signals.

I have tried removing both, and seems to be way less blurry, but I guess I have to trade off here.  The image quality doesn't appear to be as good when turning both off.
