Recs on <$700 receiver to pair with Totem speakers

Time to upgrade...trying to keep below $700.

Looking to replace a Marantz 7500 (it was fine, would rather try something else this time around) with a new receiver - needs to support 4+ HDMI inputs. Don't care about zones or extras, will likely only ever handle one room.

Pairing with some Totem Arro/Dreamcatchers (random indeed) and old KEF rears (for now) and SVS (PB10) sub. Listening runs the gamut from football games to jazz.

Denon, Pioneer, Onkyo, HK...my head is starting to spiiiiin
Thanks all-

The Marantz 7500 is equivalent to a $1200 receiver today but here are a few avr's in your price range. Pioneer-Elite-VSX23, or the VSX-21, Denon-1910,  Harman/Kardon-3600, or the 2600, Onkyo-707, Yamaha-765. The Pioneer Elite 23 and H/K 3600 look real good but make sure Amazon (thru those sellers) is an authorized dealer or you may not have a warranty. The Denon and Onkyo come with Audyssey which is real popular right now. Some won't buy a receiver without it.

Ahh yes, no more $1200 receivers for me (for a while!)...I'll check out the Audyssey - need to educate myself about that. Never was a fan of Onkyo but that is based on experiences from decades ago. It would probably be good for me to take a look now.
Thanks for the tips
and if anyone else has any, I'm all ears -
