Which receiver to buy? Below i've listed my speakers and sub

Well...i'm doing a complete upgrade of my "home theater"....

TV - Just purchased the Panasonic 58" V10.

Here are my speakers...They are all B&W

2 DM 604 S3 Front speakers
1 LCR 600 S3 Center Channel
1 ASW 600 Subwoofer
3 Surround in wall B&W (don't feel like taking them out to get the model number!)

Here is a link to the 600 Series Brochure from B&W website...

My question is....I need an AVR to replace my old Yamaha 6.1 receiver that does not have HDMI switching.

I'm looking in the $700-$1300 price range.  Any suggestions on the best unit to power these speakers?

I'll mostly be watching Blu-Ray and regular DVD movies...along with DirecTV stuff.  All inputs will be HDMI.  Will probably connect IPOD for music listening.  Could connect to my PC instead if that is an option.

What's anybody's opinion on the best Blu-Ray player that streams Netflix?  WiFi would be nice, but not needed.  Don't want to spend more than 300.

Been looking at the Denon 2310 and 4308.  Also looking into Marantz and Onkyo.

Thanks in advance for any input.

The Onkyo-876 ($969.99) would be high on my list. Lots of power and a great video section.

Is there a difference btwn the silver and black models?  i see the silver somewhere for 800.  looks pretty sweet.

No difference. Silver is less popular, though I prefer it over black, so sometimes it's cheaper.

I've had good results pairing my B&W 600 Series speakers with Pioneer Elite receivers. Depending on the retailer's discount, either the SC-25 or VSX-23TXH models should fit within your budget  I currently own a slightly older VSX-94TXH model, and am quite happy with the setup. There is an optional iPod docking station available, as well as a front USB port that can be used for a generic memory stick with MP3 files. The SC-25 also has an ethernet port for music streaming from your PC or Internet radio (my 94-TXH has the same feature).

Check Newegg.com for the Onkyo 1007 & 3007 and  onecall.com for the Denon 4308CI if you want some nice deals.

Yes, that is an option if your PC is setup for it. What are you running on your PC for an OS? Is your PC set up as a PVR using something like Media Center?

Thanks for all the help guys.  I decided to go with the Onkyo TX-NR807.  got a great deal at ABT for $813.  Coming Friday!!!

Picked up my LG BD390 yesterday...all my cables are coming from monoprice on friday, and my mount for my TV is coming thursday.  Going to be a big project doing drywall work for hdmi cables, speaker wire etc this weekend...but looking forward to it.

Now, if my Panny 58" V10 wasn't on a 3 week backorder i'd be all set.  Good things come to those who wait i guess.
