Need advice for speaker selection.

Hey I'm looking into 5.1 setups for my HT and I'm having a hard time trying to decide who to go with.

I've done a lot of research on the Primus line from Infinity, and have heard great reviews from everywhere. But, on the other hand, many people have told me to check out internet direct brands, so now I'm looking into SVS.

The set up I'm looking at from SVS is their sts-01 system, which contains the two sts-01 fronts, scs-01 center, and a pair of sbs-01 bookshelves.

I know svs is really well known for their subwoofers, and actually if I decide to go with the Infinity setup I think I'm gonna go with the svs pb12-nsd sub. It has gotten great reviews.

So my question is to everyone, would a full svs set up be better than the infinity primus speakers with svs sub or not? I mostly use my HT for movies and games, don't listen to much music on it, so I don't know if that makes a difference?

Anyone got any advice that would be nice.
Thanks.

The SVS speakers are very good speakers. I recommend them here all the time. Everyone I know that has them, are very happy with them. I don't know anything about the Infinity speakers. SVS has won several awards for their speakers, and we know they make one of the best subwoofers. You can't go wrong with SVS. They have a very good return policy, if you end up not liking them. Everyone says too, that SVS has outstanding customer service. I hope to get a cylinder sub from them in April.
Good luck!
