Berfore any vintage TV lovers get too excited about the series, this is the release of the series pilot movie only . . . it's out via the Warner Archives MOD program.

Bob!  "Long time no post".  Great to see you back here

Thanks for the Archive info.  I've been keeping an eye over there for TV show news.  Maybe we'll start seeing some series releases soon.

Ditto what Jeff said.  Great to see you back, my good friend!  Hope you have been doing well, and I hope we see you posting more often again.  You've been missed.

On the WAC Facebook page, among the questions and comments, they're saying the whole series is coming and the same good news seems the case with Search. According to one answer they have an 'endless list' of shows they're trying to clear, so hopefully more good news is about to spread on many other series soon as it would appear their TV releases are indeed picking up speed now.

I much prefer they clear those shows, unlike Bronson, which didn't run numerous times over the years on TNT.

Well, the whole idea of the archive program is to get EVERY WB owned show and film out that they are not planing to put on press disc - so it's no surprise that they are working on clearing as much as possible.

That's sort of what I've always figured too, also that sales for this service should matter somewhat less than for pressed discs. Warner Archives have already released a flood of old and rare 1930s/1940s films that otherwise probably never would've have been released, I'm guessing the same strategy applies for TV shows if clearings can go through.

Whenever I hear the word "every", I have to shake my head. While its nice to dream, we all know damn well that there are so many obscure and forgotten series in the vaults that will never, ever see the light of day. Unlike theatrical films, there doesn't seem to be any company that has an interest in taping the market of failed television shows from 40 or 50 years ago. Nice as it would be, I don't forsee getting the full run of Hank in my lifetime.
