Ok so I did this full remodel at the house where we cut back drywall and ran lines like a spider. I built and AV closet and ran HDMIs to almost every room. I opt'ed to uses the Mono**ice HDMI faceplates that run the HDMI over 2 cat6 lines which made it alot easier.
HOWEVER-
For some reason when I plug my onkyo 807 into the hdmi faceplates it cuts the Onkyo. By that i mean it consistanly resets like i'm pushing a source button ( sound comes, dispay shows source, then sound cuts & display resets...constantly) I have certified that my lines are good and it runs the samsung BD3600 without a problem.
I have also ran a direct line from the onkyo, across the floor to the TV and it worked fine.
Surely a 50ft run is not too long right?
Is the onkyo HDMI output not "strong" enough?
is there anything I can do short of cutting drywall and running a real HDMI?
ANY help or input would be greatly appriciated!!
