"Fatal Error" with large threads

The Track Your Films 2009 thread first page gives

Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in /var/www/sites/www.hometheaterforum.com/releases/20091119222413/common/common.formatting.php on line 571

...around post 7 and you can't access the rest of the page.

(And while we're at it, to edit my Track Your 2009 Films post and maintain the correct format, I now have to go into the source formatting...I long for the vBulletin simple formating...can we even bring something like that back?)

Same thing here. For the last few months I was miraculously able to access Page One of the TRACK YOUR FILMS thread, and it seemed that the bugs were gone. But now I can't get back to Page One at all to edit my master list of films watched.

I just get a white screen that says "DONE" on the bottom.

Yup, I still miss the old Bulletin format.

I can confirm this error. And previously I was always able to load that thread.

I have no problem getting to page one but it takes a very long time to actually edit a post and add anything to it.  The last time I tried a couple days ago it took around 75-minutes to add around ten lines.  It was like that when the site first went to the new format but had been cut down dramatically until the other night.

Hello Brian,

I'm sorry you're experiencing this issue.

I tested it myself to see if would get it too, and I just loaded this thread without a problem... granted it's heavy content-wise, so it takes a little longer than most threads, but it didn't error or fail to load, and the load time for me was under a second or two. (Just to let you know, the Partner Services team accesses the forums the same way all members do, via the internet not a special 'back end' connection or anything like that...so while we do have pretty respectable service to our office, it's not different in that way).

I'll show this error to our team and see if there's something funky going on with your particular userID.

Ben, the problem isn't limited to a single user ID.

As indicated earlier in the thread, I see the same error. I'm still getting it this morning, as recently as one minute ago:

This is a new error. I used to be able to load this thread.

Yeah, I have to say that I'm having a problem with editing my list of movies on page one. It won't load and I also get an error message on the bottom of my page. I previously had no problems before other than speed.

I'm seeing this issue as well.

We'll get a fix in ASAP.
