Netflix streaming via PS3 help...

I just got my netflix disc to stream movies via my ps3 but need help with my display settings....some movies are playing in 4:3 on my widescreen TV and others are not....how do I make every movie play in widescreen?...thank you for your help I appreciate it...

It is all dependent on whether Netflix has the program enhanced for widescreen or not, as well as the original aspect ratio of the program you are watching.

For example, an episode of "Amazing Stories," which was produced for television in the mid 1980s, will only play in 4:3 on your HDTV.

I have tried Netflix Instant Viewing on my PS3, and have mixed feelings regarding the quality.

What specific movies are you having problems with?
