Denon AVR790

Is the Denon AVR 790 a good receiver? I am planning on using it for watching movies and playing video games.

its a good receiver . i got one and are happy with it performance wise . but the remote drives me crazy , funnily enough this is enough to frustrate me to the point that my next receiver will not be by denon unless they supply better remotes by then.

Denon remotes are pretty sad, (but the receivers are great). One of the reasons Harmony is doing so well (hint, hint  ).
