About 2 months ago while watching TV my screen would go black but I would still have sound. After some testing I realized it was the receiver. I have tried to plug into the VCR/Ipod input with the same issue. Has anyone has come across this before? Or do you know of a fix? I've only had it for 1.5 years, and I'm wondering if I can fix it myself or if I should just take it in... or get a new receiver.
Some history : The unit was on a shelf until some heavy vibrations from a slamming garage door shook it off causing it to land on it's face. This happened about 5 months after I purchased it. None of the buttons on the front work, but it seems to work fine via remote.
Running from Directv Tivo box to Denon 2308ci to Philips Ambilight Plasma.
