Which BR Player can read ... AVI, WMM etc...

Someone can help me to answer my question please :

For my first BR player, i would like to know which BR Player can play file type AVI , WMM on DVD Disc and has a good upscaler in it . I am just return a Panasonic BD60 because the upscaler is NOT good ,  it can upscale up to 1080i and it don't play disc with file type AVI like my SD DVD player Toshiba .

Please give me some advice .

Try the Oppo as it plays almost every format, and is a great upscaler. Its not cheap though and does not go onsale

Thank for your response Craig. The Oppo is my first choice but the price is too high for me , but I wonder if the new BD Player Toshiba BDX2000 have a same upscaler and can read DVD disc with file type AVI , WMV as my SD DVD Toshiba player . I will be happy with this. Someone can inform me or has any experience with  this new Toshiba BD player.
