Beginning today (Nov. 17th), Starbucks is offering a four track Christmas EP that ties in with their affiliation with the (red) Foundation. Since Bono is heavily involved with (red), it is no surprise that one of the tracks is by U2 ("I Believe In Father Christmas"), along with "All You Need Is Love" by Playing for Change, "You and Me" (acoustic version) by Dave Mattthews Band and "(red)emption" by John Legend. The EP is not for sale, but is free (while supplies last, of course) with any $15 retail purchase at Starbucks. (That's stuff like mugs, gift packs, etc. not cups of coffee!) My store got about a 100 copies, so they should be in pretty good supply for the time being.

Free [with purchase] Starbucks (red) Christmas EP with GREAT songs!
Here's an update: The CD is free with ANY $15 purchase, the exceptions being the purchase of a Starbucks Card or adding money to an existing card. The CD will get scanned with the items you buy (it should show as "nc" on the receipt) and in doing so, Starbucks will donate $1 to The Global Fund.
