Why no receiver salespersons?

Many of the posts here state that people need help choosing a receiver, I would think receiver manufacturer representatives would be lurking making suggestions, then real users could debate their claims if necessary. I would be glad to upload the diagram that i created for another post to a manufacturers website and get some support.

I see many of us are not getting help here and I don't trust my local retail stores i.e. Best Buy, etc...

hi

you are pretty much answering your own question of "why are we not getting any help here" by citing Best Buy as your local retailer.

Best Buy has been strong arming the industry for years. This, and other reasons, the electronic industry has really suffered...there are very few experts left...and you will definitely not find one in a BB type of store.

The other part of your post asks about lurking salespersons....and then you wanting to debate with them. Why on earth would any sales person want to debate anonymous persons on the internet...it is a no win scenario for them.

The reason I am here is because there were no experts at BB. I was hoping to get a response from someone's recent personal experiences.

I'm not qualified to debate anyone, my point was that if a salesperson made a claim that was inaccurate or untrue a user would step up to share their experience.

Isn't this what forums are all about?
