Is it possible to replace my passive sub on my sony ss360 with a powered sub i have? The ss360 has a single positive negitive wire going to the passive sub, the powered sub has hi and low level inputs. Wondering if i can just cut the wire that goes to the passive sub and connect it to the high level input of the powered sub? Any input would be great, didnt want o start cutting wires if i dont have too. Thanks

Being that there only 1 pos/neg wire coming off the recever and theres two L/R high level inputs on the powered sub how would i go about hooking this up. Just plug it into the Left or right on the powered sub? ! positive 1 neg? Just the left or just the right?

Left or right?  Pick one because it does not matter.  The left and right inputs get summed on a circuit board just inside the amp.
