Anbody been to the Apple Company Store in Cupertino?

I will be out in San Francisco next month
and like a tourist, I want to stop at the
Apple company store to buy some apparel
that can't be bought elsewhere.

Has anybody been to the company store?

How are their prices on apparel? Are they
ultra-expensive?

Perhaps provide some prices on stuff?

I would hope it would be a worthy visit
to see the Apple campus while buying some
clothing and nick-nacks like Apple logo mouse
pads, coffee cups, etc.

Not in several years: they were having a sale on iSight cameras at the time. I don't recall anything about the apparel prices.

I hear getting on the apple campus is like getting onto a movie lot security wise... Do you have an invite/escort?

 I have not read one iota anywhere about security escort needed.

The store is open to the public.

The buildings are arranged in a ring, with a large grassy area in the middle. The store is on the outside, so no escort needed.

Next time I'm in the SF area I definitely plan on making the pilgrimage. Gotta get me one of those "I visited the mothership" tees...
