Warner Home Video has not yet released Kung Fu: The Legend Continues in Region 1, but for some reason the first season has been released on DVD in Germany.

That's the good news.
The bad news is the transfer is 480 dpi and it looks like they just threw onto DVD whatever old tapes they had lying around. The picture is very soft and lacking in detail and there is some minor damage (occasional specks and the like).
Don't know what this means for a Region 1 release... though if it does get released in the U.S., I suspect it will be through the Warner Archive.
