That is the reason I like it. The rest of the room is ok. It would need to be in an all white room with no other furniture. I think it would be cool to be able to blank out the windows in the room too.

I think that bed would only work in a giant loft-like room with views... if you put it in a normal house, it would look like a refrigerator taking up too much space! I think it needs have a huge amount of empty space around it to feel like a "pod" otherwise it would look like a white elephant!
