Need some help picking out speakers for my new home!

Ok guys I am finishing up fixing up my new home and now my last step would be to get all my surround sound system for my living room. I have the whole contemporary look going in my home and I am looking for speakers that can look as clean and flush as possible. I prefer "In roof" speakers for rear, Dont know if "in wall" for the front speakers are good but perfer nothing really sticking out the wall, and I dont mind a decent subwoofer on the floor if thats my best bet.

All these remodeling expenses have me on a budget so please help me find something good with decent pricing.

The only thing I have purchased is the receiver: ONKYO TX-NR807 R - Retail

Hi Jason -- Welcome to the forum!

Can you define "decent price" for us?  That should go a long ways toward the recommendations.

As a general rule of thumb, in-wall and in-ceiling speakers tend to be compromises.  You can almost always get better "regular" speakers for the price you pay for in-walls.  HOWEVER . . . we all make compromises in our systems, so if that's the compromise you need to make, we'll help you get there.

Around $1000 in speakers. Does that sound too low? I would prefer to have the speakers as hidden as possible (that area is my Living/family room so I'm trying to keep it clean) cause thats whats seen when you walk in the front door
