Congratulations goes out to fellow members Jason_V, mattCR and Mike Frezon for winning our recent contest. Members where asked to submit reviews and create wiki's on the forum for others to enjoy. From the members who entered the contest we selected those that not only contributed the most but those that contained the best quality content.

The following prizes where awarded:

1st prize - Panasonic Viera TC-P42G10 42" Plasma - Jason_V
2nd prize - Oppo BDP-83 Blu-ray Player - mattCR
3rd prize - $200 gift certificate to a retail store of choice - Mike Frezon.

Congratulations again to the winners!!

Boy oh boy, am I jealous!  :-)  Awesome job.  I can't wait to hear how the TV works out.

As soon as I'm back from vacation and have the bad boy set up, I'll be putting some pics in this thread.  Figures the good stuff happens when I'm not going to be home, right???

I finally spent the weekend configuring everything.  We've had kind of a wild two weeks (our oldest was in the hospital for two weeks), and I admit, I now have the theater I have always dreamed of having :)

Denon 4810CI
Oppo 83
PS3
HTPC
50" Samsung 1080P

I spent the last weekend doing some cleanup speaker shopping.  I change speakers way too often, but I admit, I heard a nearby AV store was going out of business, and I couldn't say no.... so I grabbed a whole definitive tech set that I have always loved but found too pricy (7002 fronts, 2500 center) and added on the PLIIz overheads.

If it wasn't for Denon repairing my old unit so cheap, and the HTF giving me the Oppo, this would have never happened!! Damn you, HTF!  Was money I didn't intend to spend originally!  :)  But really, the deal was too good.

 

I've spent today blasting music away having a hell of a time.  Loving every moment of it!
