What does this mean?

I've gotten word from our engineering team that the latest release, which included the ability to add polls to threads, created a bug for PM'ing. In some cases, you will get the error you reported. A fix is in the works and should be released shortly.

Sorry for the inconvenience, and thanks for reporting this...we'll get it fixed as soon as possible.!

This issue should be fixed now! Apologies again for the hickup...sometimes bugs sneak in where least expected!

Meantime, check out the new poll feature. When you create a thread, you can add a poll to it! Cool...

I sent the PM that I wanted to send on Thursday . It seem to work but the "please wait" seemed too long.

Friday I then tried to send another PM which didn't work. The "Please wait" went over a minute and I had to retype the PM again . When I tried to send a PM and also a post to a thread - after a minute or so I got the message "The request failed due to a connection problem. Please wait a moment and try again." I tried several times and still got the same message. Perhaps this has been corrected in the last 12 hours. I also got "502 Bad Gateway   -  nginx/0.6.35"

While I am at it, when are you to restore the "normal size" of the avators on the posts  like in the old software rather than this postage stamp size ?

Also as a very experienced programmer, I am amazed after each up date there are many errors. Why aren't update tested before hand? At least one other member has also stated this to me.

Hi Sumnernor.  Apologies you've been having trouble!  Since a fix was deployed, our testing hasn't shown any problems.  Have you still been experiencing issues still?  If so, please let me know what browser and operating system you're using and we'll look into replicating and diagnosing the issue.  Thanks for your help and patience!

As far as I know - no problems since, Saturday, I sent 2 PMs but have not heard - is it possible they were not received?  My 2 sent PMs are in my "file. I have Firefox 3.0.15 and XP Prof -3.
