Media Consoles, do they make any deep enough for my AV receiver?

I'm looking to buy a nice media console set.  Of course the girlfriend wants something nice so I'm mainly looking at Crate and Barrel.  Found a great looking console with two media towers, except the problem is the interior shelf is only 14 inches deep.  My AV receiver (Yamaha RX-V1000) is 15.5 inches alone, not counting the banana plugs or anything sticking out the back, which would overall make my unit sit comfortably in 18-19 inches of shelf space.  Is it just me or are almost all of the media consoles on the market not this deep?  Is there a certain place to find ones that can actually house a decent AV receiver?  Either that or please direct me to where they make AV receivers that aren't so shelf stingy.  Thanks

Look for a company that specializes in media furniture.  My wife and I recently purchased a cabinet produced by Hooker Furniture.  They make pretty high quality stuff and most of the HT stuff is well thought out.

Another company we looked at was Sligh.  They actually go as far as building quiet fans into some of their cabinets to help keep components cool . . . but they still look like pretty nice furniture.

This is the piece I picked up recently:

Thanks for your reply, Seth.  I'll check those companies out.  Anybody know of any brands of receivers that are made to not be so deep?
