Email Notifications and Visiting a Thread

Hey all

This has been bugging me since we got the new site and I thought I should finally ask about it. Whenever I get an email notification to a thread I'm subscribed to and I click on it, it always brings me to the site, to that thread on the FIRST PAGE.

Is there a way to make it jump to the actual new post when I get the email? The old site did it that way and I would really like to get that functionality back!

I posted this same question at the suggestion box area a few weeks ago and haven't seen a response yet.

Oh so it isn't something I have set wrong, it's just what it does?

Apologies for the tardy reply!  This is definitely on the feature roadmap along with a few other enhancements to the subscription and email system.  Thanks for the feedback!
