Whiplash (Peter Graves western TV series from 1961)

The 1961 western TV series Whiplash, which starred Peter Graves, is getting a Region 2 DVD release by Network DVD. The release date is Monday 7th December, 2009. The URL link to the page on Network DVD's website for Whiplash is below:

I noticed a few days ago when browsing DVDCompare.net, a review of the Region 2 set for Whiplash, including a few screencaps. A very favourable review.

Yes, I have the set. At the moment it is a Network exclusive. Probably turn up on Amazon & the like eventually, probably at a lower price.

Pic quality & sound is about average for a release of this vintage & all episodes seem uncut.

I thought Network DVD were still doing a sale on their website with Whiplash: The Complete Series (Region 2 DVD) selling for £20. I don't know how long the sale was on for, but I've just checked on their website and it's gone back up to £40 all but a penny.

A rather blunt reply but thanks for the reply.

The R2 picture quality isn't too bad, but you have to consider that the show is 50 years old.
