Hi again,
I posted last week on my current setup/ possible upgrades. Now thinking about it I am going to do a complete overhaul =). Ok so heres what i have in mind. Tonight I purchased an Onkyo 707 as my amp. So thats out of the way. I am going to do external speakers instead of wall/ceiling flush mounted. For my speakers i have chosen Klipsch reference series. For my Fronts i have chosen the RF-82's. For the center RC-62. Was thinking about the RC-64 but the 707 wont do it justice i believe. The rears RS-52's. and the surround back RB-61's. I currently have a RW-12d Sub, but will be adding another one. Tell what u think, what you hate or love and comments or idea's. And the room is 16x9. TV is a 52" series 6 Samsung LCD on a tv stand. Also I remember reading about something you could buy to calibrate your speakers perfectly, i know the amp comes with a setup mic but wanting something a little more precise. Thanks

Why do you think the 707 won't do the RC-64 justice?

Does the RW-12D play low enough for you?  Because adding a second will only give you more potential volume.  You could play with placement to even out the bass throughout the room.  But that would require hardware, software and time to determine the proper placement of both subs.  My philosophy is to go with a great sub that plays low enough and loud enough for me.

I confirmed my receiver's calibration system using Video Essentials DVD and an SPL meter.  After running the setup a few times and confirming the calibration with the DVD, I'm sticking with the receiver's auto settings.  I just change the speakers from large to small when the setup routine is done.  The DVD also has video calibration screens as well so it is not a waste of time.  The SPL meter can also be used of fine tuning of your sub.
