Need Help, Onkyo TXSR 606

So I got my front three speakers set up last night (haven't set up the rears yet). I ran the audyssey set up and heard the test tone from all three speakers. When I switch the receiver to My blu-ray player I have audio from the speakers. On the receiver it says "dvd hdmiThrough" and I can see audyssey on the screen as well. When I switch it to my Directv HR22-100 It says "CBL Hdmithrough" and I have nothing coming from the speakers. If I turn the TV speaker back on I have audio from that but not the surround speakers.

Also, why does it say "DVD Hdmithrough" when I play a blu-ray, I expected it to say something different? Or do I have to have the rear surrounds set up to utilize Dolby true hd, etc.?

What am I doing wrong?

Fixed it Fellas! Learning curve is steep for me, going from no surround sound to this! Thanks

You should post your fix, so other's may benefit from it, if they have the same problem.

I neglected to assign the input, by doing this I had video on the flat screen but no audio on my surrounds. I assigned it and booya
