There is a guy where I work that is selling an M&K V75 MK-II Subwoofer. He'll take $75 for it. It is in "like new" condition, with very little use. I'm wondering if this is a good price for an older sub like this, and if this sub will sound noticeably better than the Onkyo HTP-420 Sub (came in a low-grade HT-S677C home theater package) I am running now. Thanks in advance!

Aaron: Welcome to the Forum!
I've no first-hand experience with either sub (yours or your friends)...but based on your description and what I find on-line about the M&K, I think you'll be highly pleased with the upgrade.
If you've got any other friends selling off their old subwoofers at good prices like that, send 'em my way!
