Need advice on Samsung LED's

Hey hows it going, buying a new TV and thinking about going with the 55 inch samsung 8500, is it the best tv out there right now? Should i look at something else for the money? Thanks i appreciate it.

Best tv out there? That's a matter of opinion. You might think so. I don't.
The screen is so glossy, that it reflects as bad as a plasma. I, personally, can't stand that. It doesn't seem to bother most people, like it does me though. Samsung makes very good tvs. I have a Samsung LED DLP myself. Samsung is one of the better ones with non HD channels.

If you like the tv, that's all that counts. Buy it. It doesn't really matter what anyone else thinks. As far as having known problems, I haven't heard of any. It's probably a safe buy, if that's what worries you. Good luck!
